A metro bus accidentally hit a pole, as a result the door opened and the driver pressed emergency brakes t
o control speed, while girl fell on the R
ahmanabad station track and was run over by metro bus, another passe
nger sustained injury.
The body and injured were rushed to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment. The girl student was identified as Sameera, 19. The other passenger was discharged from hospital after he was treated by the doctors.
According to eye witnesses, the metro bus was going from Rawalpindi to Islamabad when the driver pressed on brakes t
o control the speed as construction work was underway at the R
ahmanabad metro Station.
Meanwhile, the victim’s parents said that we will lodge a case against metro bus administration.
